Note: First and most importantly, thanks to TheOfficialTone for letting me jump into the instrumental. Check out his beats on youtube. I wanted a beautiful yet dark sound and this beat couldn’t be any more perfect. I messed up on some parts and the beginning was last minute idea that I came up with. I felt like I needed something to kick the hook. Also, thanks to the person who inspired me to write this song. I’m really proud of the lyrics. Story behind the song? Listen to it and you’ll pretty much know. Initially, the song was supposed to be pure personal and direct to the person that I wanted to dedicate this song to but I added the first few parts of the song(before the second hook) to make it appeal more to the general audience. I wanted to hit home(heart) with the lyrics and end the song with something that would make me say “damn” and I like to think that I did. Going Through Changes

UPDATE!

Hey guys, this is just an update on that rap that I recorded.

So the first verse(which is the second verse in the full song) speaks of me changing as a person from some innocent kid into a badass/screw up during my Junior Year in high school which I tried to fix on that same year but really didn’t until I really screwed up so bad in my Senior Year to a point that I almost did not graduate.

Second verse(third verse in the full song) is about me and well my ex-girlfriend, Milan, who I fell terribly in love with during my high school year. Well, she ended up with someone else and I guess we never were that great of a couple, but for some reason I got some joy out of the tough times we went though. Wow, am I sick or what? Lol. Well, I had to move on for the sake of my own well-being.

I’m really havin’ a tough time recording a decent quality audio with this piece of shiet headset and my voice dies after a number of failed attempts but at least I’m makin’ progress? If I keep recording and publishing this rap in rate that I am, I think I’ll just keep posting updated versions until I have recorded and am able to post the final.
